BITE-SIZE STARDOM SHOW REPORT: Stardom Cinderella Tournament 2026 – Night 4 (11/03/2026)

Pre-Show Notes

  • This is the eleventh annual Cinderella Tournament, with the first taking place in 2015 as the Cinderella Champion’s Fiesta.
  • There have been 9 different winners of the tournament, and only two to ever win it twice; Mayu Iwatani (2015 & 2016), Toni Storm (2017), Momo Watanabe (2018), Arisa Hoshiki (2019), Giulia (2020), Saya Kamitani (2021), MIRAI (2022 & 2023), Hanan (2024) & Sayaka Kurara (2025)
  • With a bracket of 32 competitors, this make the 2026 tournament the largest ever in terms of participants.
  • The show will take place over five days. Nights 1 and 2 will emanate from Chunichi Hall in Nagoya on the 6th and 7th March, night 3 which house the second round matches will take place at Korakeun Hall on March 8th with the quarter-finals handing on night 4 on March 11th – also at Korakuen Hall. The semi-finals and final will take place on March 15th at Yokohama Budokan.
  • The rules for the tournament are as follows;
    • Fifteen minute time-limits for round 1 and round 2 matches, unlimited time limits for quarter-finals and beyond.
    • Matches can be won via pinfall, submission, countout, disqualification or by over the top rope. A time-limit draw, double countout or double elimination will result in both competitors being eliminated from the tournament.
  • 13th Future of Stardom Champion HANAKO has been champion for 165 days – in her first reign. This will be the fourth title defence of her reign.
  • This will be Yuria Hime’s second attempt at the Future of Stardom Championship, after losing to Hina in September 2025.
  • The current singles record between the pair sits at 1-0-1 in HANAKO’s favour, with both prior singles matches having taken part in Cinderella Tournaments; HANAKO winning in 2025, and a double countout in the first round of this year’s tournament.
  • Maika, Starlight Kid and Mei Seira all return to action on this show after participation at CMLL shows in Mexico.
  • Suzu Suzuki also returns to action on this show, after taking time off following the Mi Vida Loca vs. EXV match that took place at Supreme Fight on 7th February.
  • Saya Kamitani continues to be absent from Stardom shows after undergoing surgery on the fingers she broke during her match with Starlight Kid at Stardom Supreme Fight 2026 in Osaka on 7th February. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
  • Bozilla continues to be absent from Stardom shows due to an ACL injury sustained on the 11th January. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
  • Matoi Hamabe continues to be absent from Stardom shows after sustaining a knee injury during the second of the 3rd January Shinjuku FACE shows. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
  • Koguma continues to be absent from Stardom shows due to an injury sustained on the 10th January. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
  • Ema Maishima continues to be absent from Stardom shows through poor physical health. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
  • Momo Watanabe continues to be absent from Stardom shows through poor physical health. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
  • AZM and Syuri will not be in the tournament or on the first three cards due to their participation on Pro-Wrestling: EVE’s Wrestle Queendom 8 show.
  • Attendance Notes: The announced attendance inside Korakuen Hall in Tokyo was 1164. This is a 6.11% increase on the previous Korakuen Hall event Stardom ran earlier in the tournament (1,097 on the 8th March featuring the second round match-ups). This show is the 186th at the venue in Stardom’s history, and sees their average surpass 980. It is now the twenty-eighth Korakuen Hall show in a row, the thirty-second of the last thirty-three, to surpass the 1000 mark.

Show Notes

  • El Desperado emerged to formally invite both Starlight Kid and Maki Itoh to Death Vegas Invitacional on April 16th. Both Kid and Itoh have already been announced on the roster of Stardom wrestlers going to the United States for WrestleMania week.
  • After defeating Yuria Hime to achieve her fourth successful defence of the Future of Stardom title, HANAKO was confronted by Ranna Yagami, who challenged her for the belt at the Cinderella Tournament finals on March 15th in Yokohama Budokan.
  • After losing to Rina in her Cinderella Tournament quarter-final match, Sayaka Kurara once again challenged Saya Kamitani for the World of Stardom Championship. Kamitani finally relented but demanded that Kurara must put something up in return and gave her until their tag team match at the Cinderella Tournament finals to come up with a suitable wager.
