BITE-SIZE STARDOM SHOW REPORT: Stardom New Year Stars 2026 in Korakuen Hall (31/01/2026)

Just prior to the match, it was announced that Lady C would miss the show due to illness. She would be replaced in the singles match against Sareee by Kikyo Furusawa.
Bozilla continues to be absent from Stardom shows due to an ACL injury sustained on the 11th January. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
Matoi Hamabe continues to be absent from Stardom shows after sustaining a knee injury during the second of the 3rd January Shinjuku FACE shows. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
Koguma continues to be absent from Stardom shows due to an injury sustained on the 10th January. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
Ema Maishima continues to be absent from Stardom shows through poor physical health. At the time of writing, no timetable for her return has been announced.
Attendance Notes: The announced attendance inside Korakuen Hall in Tokyo was 1,332. Though a 10% decrease on the previous Korakuen Hall event Stardom ran (1480 on the 21st January featuring Yuzuki Aikawa’s comeback and Konami vs. Rina for the White Belt), the number still pushes Stardom’s total attendance for January up to 9,035 – a 32.79% increase on last year’s 6,804, and an impressive 28.74% increase on their previous best of 7,018 in 2023. This show is now the twenty-fifth Korakuen Hall show in a row, the twenty-ninth of the last thirty, to surpass the 1000 mark.

Backstage, Yuna Mizumori and Anne Kanaya challenged Aya Sakura and Sayaka Kurara for the New Blood Tag Team Championships. This has since been confirmed for New Blood 28 on February 3rd. This will be their first defence since securing the belts on October 30th.
Rina attacked Fuwa-chan after the latter’s match, stating that she needs to stop masquerading as a ‘good person’ and that she belongs in H.A.T.E.
Saya Kamitani unmasked Starlight Kid after pinning her in the main-event, forcing the challenger to run backstage with her face covered as Kamitani laughed during her closing address.
