What Do I Need to Know?

  • 20th World of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani has been champion for 309 days – in her first reign. This will be the seventh title defence of her reign.
  • Momo Watanabe won the 5Star Grand Prix which she has cashed in on this opportunity at the World of Stardom Championship. This will be Momo’s seventh attempt at the belt, and her first since losing a two-out-of-three falls match against Maika at All-Star Grand Queendom in April 2024.
  • Saya Kamitani has a 2-1 record against Momo Watanabe in singles action, having won the last two in a row. Their last singles match took place at Stardom Supreme Fight 2023, where Saya defeated Momo to retain her Wonder of Stardom Championship.
  • Saya currently has the 8th longest-reign of any World of Stardom Champion. Her reign is also the longest since Syuri’s full calendar year with the belt ended on December 29th 2022.
  • Victory over Momo will also put Saya on 7 successful defences and put her in joint 6th for most successful title defences, level with Nanae Takahashi.
  • This will be Momo Watanabe’s sixth singles match at Ota-Ward City Gymnasium, and has won her last four of those in a row – currently having a record of 4-2 in the venue.
  • This will be the seventh singles match for Saya at the venue, with her having won four of those. She is 1-0 in championship matches, and also won the Cinderella Tournament in the venue in 2021.
  • 24th Wonder of Stardom Champion Starlight Kid has been champion for 309 days – in her first reign. This will be the sixth title defence of her reign.
  • Konami currently holds a 2-1 singles record over Starlight Kid, though Kid won their last match – again for the Wonder of Stardom Championship at the 2025 Cinderella Tournament finals in March, also at Ota-Ward City Gymnasium.
  • Starlight Kid recently surpassed Tam Nakano’s reign of 301 days to become the sixth longest-reigning Wonder of Stardom Champion of all-time. A victory would also bring her to joint 8th alongside Io Shirai for the most successful defences of the White Belt (7).
  • This will be Konami’s sixth attempt at the Wonder of Stardom Championship, with her never having held the belt.
  • Konami has only won one of her four singles matches in the venue – but has lost both of her title matches there. Meanwhile, Starlight Kid has only won two of her three singles matches at the venue.
  • 27th High-Speed Champion Mei Seira has been champion for 463 days – in her second reign. This will be the ninth title defence of her reign.
  • Mei recently surpassed AZM’s second reign of 458 days to become the fourth longest-reigning High-Speed Champion of all-time. She currently sits at 8 title defences – level with her opponent Hazuki – and victory would take her past Hazuki and bring her to joint 2nd alongside Mayu Iwatani for the most successful defences of the High-Speed title (9).
  • Mei Seira and Hazuki have shared the ring in singles action twice, with Hazuki winning the first and the second going to a time-limit draw.
  • That most recent singles match was also for the High-Speed Championship, in February of 2024; the final successful defence of Mei’s first reign with the belt.
  • Mei has only wrestled once in singles action at Ota-Ward City Gymnasium, her victory on the opening night of this year’s 5Star Grand Prix over Waka Tsukiyama.
  • This will be Hazuki’s fourth singles match at Ota-Ward City Gymnasium, with her currently sporting a 1-2 record. This will be her first since July 2023 and a defeat to Mayu Iwatani.
  • This will be the fifteenth Stardom show to emanate from the Ota-Ward City General Gymnasium in Tokyo. The highest recorded attendance for them at the venue was also the last time they ran there with the 2,856 achieved at the 5Star Grand Prix 2025 finals, while the lowest is 813 from the opening night of the 2023 Goddesses of Stardom Tag League, with Stardom averaging 1,739 per show.
