Marigold ran the second night of their New Year Golden Garden 2026 tour from the 176BOX in Osaka on the 17th January. Unfortunately, in the second match on the card, whilst teaming with Nagisa Tachibana against the team of Shoko Koshino and Seri Yamaoka, Kizuna Tanaka suffered a serious injury to her ankle, forcing the referee to bring a stop to the match.
It has since been confirmed by Marigold’s social media channels that Tanaka suffered a dislocation and a fracture of her left ankle, and has undergone emergency surgery.
We at World of Joshi wish Kizuna Tanaka a speedy recovery and hope to see her back in the ring as soon as possible.
