New Japan Pro-Wrestling will run their first US show since Resurgence in May 2025 when they descend on the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey on February 27th for The New Beginning USA.
Amongst those announced for the show is IWGP Women’s Champion Syuri. Though a match-up for the show is yet to be confirmed, it is likely we will see the second defence of her title following a successful retention against Saya Kamitani at the Tokyo Dome on January 4th.
Only one match has been confirmed for the show, Konosuke Takeshita taking El Phantasmo for the NJPW World Television Championship, but appearances from IWGP Heavyweight & IWGP Global Champion Yota Tsuji, Tomohiro Ishii, Boltin Oleg, El Desperado and the aforementioned Syuri have all been officially announced.
